A Unique Cultural Immersion
Following the resounding success of the first edition in 2018, Molitor announces the launch of the second edition of the indoor pool's artist cabins, an unprecedented artistic experience.
For three decades, Molitor has been linked to the history of street art. Originally, the cabins surrounding the indoor pool offered swimmers the privacy they needed to change before diving in. Abandoned in the 1990s, the facility became a temple to the underground, attracting numerous graffiti artists and serving as a vast open-air studio for almost 20 years.
Since its reopening in 2014, Molitor has adopted an ambitious curatorial approach that remains true to this era.
For this new 2024 collection, Molitor has opted for a resolutely international curatorial approach. This edition presents a fascinating panorama of contemporary urban art, with artists from Asia, Africa, America, the Middle East, Europe and France. Each of the 70 cabins surrounding the swimming pool has been transformed by an artist, from floor to ceiling, creating a vast gallery of contemporary urban art.
The public is invited to discover this unique exhibition and immerse themselves in Molitor's artistic universe.
