Scottish photographer Soo Burnell returns to Molitor to present a new chapter in her successful Poolside series.

The Into the Blue exhibition guides the viewer through five magnificent Parisian swimming pools.

From the colourful blocks of Molitor to the 'piano key' tiles of the Butte-aux-Cailles; from the geometric reflections of the Piscine de Bagneux to the superb natural light of the Piscine George Hermant and through the renaissance of the Piscine des Amiraux, the Into the Blue exhibition takes us on an architectural journey that spans decades, but brings us back to that universal joy: the feeling of fulfilment when you enter the water.

"I wanted to create a collection of Parisian swimming pools in a similar way to the series I shot in my home town of Edinburgh in Scotland. There are similarities in the architecture of many of these pools, but I also noticed a similarity in the sense of community that these pools bring." Soo Burnell
